The Terlato family is proud of their family’s longevity and legacy in the American wine industry so they crafted a wine to celebrate the arrival of the 5th Generation of their winemaking family. Cuvée 5 is a refined blend of the five classic Bordeaux style varietals woven together like an elegant tapestry – a blend which they believe expresses the ideal balance between these five distinct varietals and of the vintage. It is rich, velvety and round, combining softness and complexity.
Tasting Notes
Aroma
Aromas of boysenberry, brambleberry, plum, dried herbs, anise and black olive.
Flavor
Fruit forward bursting with purple fruit flavors interwoven with some black olive and subtle hints of spice. This is a medium to heavy bodied wine with generous tannins finishing with cocoa and anise.
