Winemaker’s Blend, a meritage style wine, celebrates the artistic endeavor of wine blending. Wine blending is the critical process of combining different wines with the goal of creating a composite that is superior to the individual components. Our winemaker sorted through dozens of terrific lots to select just the right combination. Similar to the inaugural 2000 bottling, the best attributes of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot harmonize into a flavorful wine that boasts forward fruit, elegant suppleness and age worthiness. The wine is full-bodied and sturdy with a lasting finish.
